The MFM Jam Chronicle: May 2007

Although the Jam of 20th May is missed here, but it happened! just that it was not photo-covered.

the Jam of 27th May was Mile-stonish kinds! We had the usual great crowd. We had Vinay (Guitar, Vocals and stage grabbing!), Vijeeth (Vocals, and gradually Guitar!), Bilal (Guitar, Vocals, Mouth Organ) , Poonam (With your Brother Aditya!) , Pulin (Guitar, Vocals), Kailash (Guitar), Tarun (Drum-its called Djembe- you ask him how to pronounce it!!) and me-Suraj (Guitar, Vocals) as the playing band. Missed Kinshuk, Amar, Yogesh and Kuldeep. The band is growing! This is the ever growing band!

What made the Jam Mile-stonish (I keep on with this word!) was that we had one of the regulars from the audience, Mr. Hari, Really appreciate our initiative, and offer to extend us support required to go louder (Amplified) and we had Mr. K.K Gandhi, an ex mayor and a very influential person (is neighbor of Shahrukh Khan!) really really bless us and gave us the go ahead to take MFM bigger with his support. That was nice.

Another great guy called Sameer Chibbar, who holds a senior position in ABN Amro Bank, told us that he found this initiative to be really standing up to its objectives (of community-team spirit building and simple, pure relaxation and fun) and invite us to start something in of the sort in their corporation as well! We had another event company guy from Pune called Amit show interest in the concept as well!

Here's how the jam went!

We had a nice crowd as usual, The yellow T-Shirt clad guy is not a dancer that we hired!

The jam was amazing as usual, we had a great crowd, though we missed Desmond , Amar and Kailash, we met a nice guy called Bilal who played 'Bhula Do' very nicely. We are looking forward as having him as a regular. At the end of the jam, We composed a song written by Kuldeep called 'Mumbai Shehar', will work on it! Met some more new guys who like the concept of community singing and hopefully will become regulars!
