Hello to all readers,
The B-Log Scribbler is back with some Back – Log. Oh Gosh! When was the last article written on this page? Well whatever! Let it be. Well I’m gonna narrate another Sunday essay, but this time with some added spice. The jam could have been usual, but not this time. We had some new recruits along with our longtime patrons.
The main attractions this time were guitarists from the popular Hindi rock band called “8th Note” – Ashutosh and Mangesh. The 8th Note is a soft rock band with good originally composed songs and hit singles featured in Native Noise online Album. Again another good guitarist joined in for the jam, Devesh from the band Urban Nomads. To this Guitaring trio, in came Chintan – the Rhythm Breaker with his Duff. The musical quadrature thus formed started pelting music soon.
The jam kick started of on a good feel with some meaningful songs oozing out from hearts of Ashutosh and Mangesh. They sang their originals and some really good songs from bollywood and other artists. In came the singing brigade comprising Ali, Abu, Shadab and friends. They swayed their throats with music played alongside.
The Music and songs were going on and the musical evening was star-studded with some friends ushering in and completing the Orchestra. Pulin and Ishant, the Guitaring Duo came in with fresh input of synergy and music. The guitarists were on strumming high and fingering the most melodious tunes out their respective guitars. Then joined the Rhythm Maestro- Tarun with his Djembe, playing the rhythms and patterns on his African instrument. Kailash, too came to fill in.
The audience was awed by the music and the natural display that the seashore brought with the downing sun. In came the requests for songs and melodies to be heard till the last note.
Well throughout the evening we had cheering crowd and some of our regular jammers turning up for the music and fun. We did miss Gauri, Gajendra, Monika, Suraj and many others who are a part and parcel for Music for Meaning and Cause.
And Sorry Guys for a technical problem due to which no pics are here on display.....
(Somebody please bring a camera next time).................
Hope to see them in the next jam. This is Chintz a.k.a Chintan signing off - a goodbye for now until I bring in another Sunday essay. Till then adios
